I would like to know who had the idea to use "Doodletown Fifers" as the opening tune of R. Luxembourg TOP 20 (30). 
And also when did it happen for the first time.
Please, can you help me get this information?
Half of Europe listened to this show,  but I couldn't find any mention of the history of this opening tune anywhere on the internet.
