Just when you thought there was nothing new that veteran legend Bob Dylan could bring to the stage comes this - namechecking himself in his first ever performance of the Rick Nelson classic "Garden Party."

The song contains the lyric "Mr. Hughes, hid in Dylan shoes, wearing his disguise."

It happened at a concert in California Thursday and you can see the historic moment in the video below.
