The Steve Miller Band has announced climate change is to blame for the cancellation of their planned 31 city U.S. tour that was to have begun next month

81 year old Steve Miller told fans that heat, flooding, tornadoes, hurricaines and unpredicatable wild fires have combined to convince the band to pull the plug

Mr. Miller said the risk to their fans, the road crew and band members is just too great

Reaction to the announcement has been quite mixed

Some are suggesting the tour was cancelled because of poor advance ticket sales
