I was doing some research on Buffalo Springfield's "Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing."  WOW!!  The entire album almost never happened for many reasons including the conversion to stereo which angered all the band members - to this day, in particular the songwriter, Neil Young.  Very interesting write-up in "Songfacts."  Not to mention the heated competition between Young and Stills.  The whole story is a "grand melodrama."
