In response to an earlier topic, I am looking for songs where someone has been in a relationship gone bad (either due to the singer having been left for another or having plain been mistreated) but has clearly been able to get over it and move on.
Here are a few to get us started:
Reb Rubber Ball - The Cyrkle
I should have known you'd bid me farewell
There's a lesson to be learned from this and I learned it very well
Now I know you're not the only starfish in the sea
If I never hear your name again it's all the same to me
The story's in the past with nothing to recall
I've got my life to live and I don't need you at all
These Boots Are Made For Walkin - Nancy Sinatra
You've been a'messin where you shouldn't've been a'messin
And now someone else is getting all your best
These boots are made for walkin
And that's just what they'll do
One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you
I've Had It - The Bell Notes
When you say that you'll keep a date
Then you show up two hours late
I've had it
Well I've had it
When you say you love me honey
When you really need my money
I've had it
Well I've had it

Understand Your Man - Johnny Cash
Don’t call my name out your window, I’m leaving
I won’t even turn my head
Don’t send your kinfolks to give me no talking
I’ll be gone, like I said
You’d say the same old thing
That you been saying all along
Lay there in your bed and keep your mouth shut
Till I’m gone
Don’t give me that old familiar cry and fuss and moan
Understand your man
I’m tired of your bad mouthing
Understand your man

Nathan Jones - The Supremes
If a woman could die of tears
Nathan Jones, I wouldn't be here
The key that you're holding won't fit my door
And there's no room in my heart for you no more
'Cause, winter's passed, spring, and fall
You never wrote me, you never called
Nathan Jones, you've been gone too long

The song that I thought of first was one that is among my top 3 personal favorites, done by many. "Softly As I Leave You", especially the Matt Monro take, a #84 Cashbox hit in 1962.
It's a frequent occurance in the life of Gale Garnet in her big hit "We'll Sing In The Sunshine", a #1 hit in Cashbox in 1964.
Jimmie Rodgwes hit the charts in 1964 with his hit "The World I Used To Know".
Dion"s "The Wanderer" sounds like a habit for him from back in 1962!

Hit The Road Jack - Ray Charles
Hit the road Jack
Don't you come back no more, no more
What Kind Of Fool Do You Think I Am - The Tams / Bill Deal and the Rhondels
I was lost in your love and I got burned
You hurt me one time, I finally learned
So now that I know what your lovin can do
Who do you think you're talking to?
What kind of fool do you think I am?
I ain't falling for you all lover again
Run To Him - Bobby Vee
If somebody else can make you
Happier than I can make you
Run to him
My tears will dry

The Worst That Could Happen - Brooklyn Bridge
Girl, I heard you're getting married
Heard you're getting married, this time you're really sure
And this is the end, they say you really mean it
This guy's the one that makes you feel so safe, so sane and so secure
And, baby, if he loves you more than me
Maybe it's the best thing
Maybe it's the best thing for you
But it's the worst that could happen to me.

Arthur Alexander's and later The Beatles' "Anna" could fit the category perhaps.

The mention of the song "Anna" above immediately brought back to mind an episode of Married With Children. In the episode Al Bundy has heard just a snippet of the song Anna (only the words "Go with him"), and has spent days trying to find out title of the song. The words "Go with him" are in his head constantly.
Finally Al finds out about a record shop where the owner can identify any song that was ever recorded just by someone singing or humming a few bars. That's the backdrop to the video clip below.

That was definitely a funny episode

You're No Good - Linda Ronstadt (and others)
Feelin' better, now that we're through
Feelin' better, 'cause I'm over you
I learned my lesson, it left a scar
Now I see how you really are
You're no good
You're no good
You're no good
Baby, you're no good

Tell It To The Rain - The 4 Seasons
You're crying now just like I used to cry before (rain, rain)
Turn off the tears, girl, I don't care any more
You can save all your lies, 'cause I've heard them all before
Tell it to the rain
And the stars that shine above
That it's me you're thinking of
And I'm your love
Tell it to the rain

Walk Like A Man - The Four Seasons
Oh how you tried to cut me down to size
Tellin' dirty lies to my friends
But my own father said, "Give her up don't bother
The world isn't comin' to an end."
(I'm gonna)
Walk like a man, fast as I can
Walk like a man from you
I'll tell the world, "Forget about it girl"
And walk like a man from you.

I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
Go on now, go, walk out the door
Just turn around now, 'cause you're not welcome anymore
Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye?
Did you think I'd crumble? Did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to love, I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my life to live, and I've got all my love to give
And I'll survive, I will survive, hey hey

I Feel A Song In My Heart Again - Gladys Knight and The Pips
It wasn't their biggest hit, but it was one of their best. And quite possibly their last. But the song fits this category like a glove.
Oh, that a man is fine
Ooh, what's even better the man is mine
He makes me feel just like a woman
Something that you could never do
And now I feel a song in my heart again
I found a man who can put it all together
I feel a song in my heart again
I'm gonna love him and make it last forever

Sorry, I don’t see that any of these singers had moved on. If they’re still singin’ about ‘em they ain’t over ’em yet. This being an oldies board, I’m sure most are over ‘em by now.
Adding a few more:
I’m Movin’ On - Hank Snow
That big eight wheeler rollin' down the track
Means your true lovin' daddy ain't comin' back
'Cause I'm movin' on
I'll soon be gone
At least he’s honest, he ain’t \over her yet.
Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone - Charley Pride
Sleepin' under a table in a roadside park
A man could wake up dead
But it sure seems warmer than it did
Sleepin' in our king-sized bed
He’s moved out but hasn’t moved on.
Bumble Bee - The Searchers
I'm gonna have to put you down
Youve been treatin me like a clown
You know youve hurt me once before
You'll never hurt me anymore
Shoo-wee, you hurt me like a bee
A bumble bee, an evil bumble bee
Now baby there's no need of cryin
I'm sick and tired of all your lyin
You know youve hurt my heart again
I'm sorry baby it's the end
BABY? He wasn’t over her either.

BTW I saw Charlie Pride a few nights ago on a rerun of Fast N' Loud that originally aired May 4, 2020. Charlie wanted Richard to repair his wrecked 1980 Stutz. Turned out it would cost about twice what the car was worth to repair it.
Unmute the sound

Lovers Who Wander - Dion and the Belmonts
She took my love, said she's not coming back
So my world and my sky was all turning black
Now I see the light, I'm wise to her
Cause I found that place for lovers who wander
A walkin around thinkin about her
Never thought I could live without her
She broke my heart, I really showed it
Look at me now, you'd never know it
Now my story can be told with a smiling face
I'm the luckiest guy in the human race
My dreams have gone for her
Cause I found that place for lovers who wander

I'm Gonna Be Strong - Gene Pitney
I can see you're slipping away from me
And you're so afraid I'll plead with you to stay
But I'm gonna be strong and let you go your way

Does Laugh Laugh by the Beau Brummels count?
I hate to say it, but I told you so
Don't mind my preaching to you
I said, "Don't trust him," baby, now you know
You don't learn everything there is to know in school
[Verse 2]
Wouldn't believe me when I gave advice
I said that he was a tease
If you want help, you better ask me nice
So be sincere, convince me with a "pretty please"
[Chorus]
Laugh, laugh, I thought I'd die
It seemed so funny to me
Laugh, laugh, you met a guy
Who taught you how it feels to be
[Post-Chorus]
Lonely, oh so lonely

I would say Laugh Laugh fits the criteria. If he's laughing at her because, after leaving him, she's now been hurt, I would say he has moved on.
Here's another:
Easy Come, Easy Go - Bobby Sherman
She wasn't kind, I wasn't smart
I lost my mind and fell apart
I had to find myself in time
Now I can start all over again
Just hangin' around, takin' it slow
So happy I found I still can smile and dig the show
Letting me know, easy come, easy go
