Wink had a TV show called Space Cadets in the 50s. I was on as a kid and got my Mars Patrol "ray gun".
He also hosted Dance Party here in Memphis.

I read he was looking at a cute girl wearing big sunglasses at a concert but when she took them off she wasn't very pretty. Of course there's the Lucy In The Sky connection

Jim, I remember how much fun it was just listening to the Top 40! It was a great diversified list that opened my eyes to the different genres of music. You could hear Elvis one minute Perry Como the next and Tennessee Ernie Ford the next! I know it must have been a hoot spinning those discs!

I know many people do use a stabilizer on high end systems. If you have a $20,000 turntable what's a few bucks for a stabilizer. As for me and my NAD turntable I'll pass for $290!

I just heard it. I have mixed emotions. It was done well. The AI is a little scary. Too be honest all this remastering is weird too. I also just heard the new remastered version of Love Me Do and prefer the original.

I can't I have one favorite but on 2 different levels here's two.
For fun..."When I woke up this morning Lucille was not in site, I ask my friends about her but all their lips were tight"
On a more cerebral side....And to see you're really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you

I know John Lennon once talked about the fuzz guitar feedback that starts "I Feel Fine" being discovered by accident, but I believe they did that deliberately on the record.

From all I've read John laid his guitar against the speaker for a tera break and that's when the reverb. He was so amazed he wanted to use it.
